During the 8:00 practice at Cook Fields the 2011-2012 Northern Ice 97 team took a moment of silence at 8:43 in honor of the men and women that parished 10 years ago at the World Trade Center in 2001. Most of these girls were barely old enough to remember what happened the day the twin towers fell but even though they were barely 3 and 4 they will always remember.
